Regent Seven Seas enjoys a privileged position at the top echelon of cruising. Already viewed as one of, if not the greatest, luxury cruise lines on the water, Regent always looks for new ways to improve the already enchanting onboard experience for their discerning clientele.

The latest addition aboard their newest ships: the Seven Seas Grandeur, Explorer, Mariner, and Voyager is a delectable new culinary venue, called Chartreuse. We take you inside for a look at the ambiance and, of course, the menu.

The Ambiance

The restaurant is designed to invoke the name Chartreuse. Throughout the restaurant, you can see the trademark green accents for which it is named. The atmosphere of the venue is meant to transport the guest to the chic eateries of Paris. The dining room is surrounded by windows ensuring each patron marvelous ocean views while indulging in the succulent modern French cuisine.

Top Menu Selections

  1. Salade de Crabe d’Alaska
    Alaskan king crab meat with Citrino olive oil wrapped in daikon radish, chartreuse infused melon Juice. This appetizer is sure to wet your palette for the main courses
  2. Consommé Chartreuse
    This fresh take on the classic consomme is a mouthwatering soup consisting of tomato aspic, mushroom royale, and foie gras ravioli served in savory beef broth.
  3. Queue de Homard Rôtie, Mousseline de Saint Jacques, Asperges, Bouillon d’Amandes
    If you speak french you already know what this is. This dish consists of a delectable combination of baked lobster tail and scallop mousse, asparagus, and almond Broth.
  4. Carré d’Agneau en Persillade
    This treat for carnivores consists of a roasted rack of lamb with rosemary persillade & chickpea fritters
  5. ÃŽle Flottante
    Our selections close with a tantalizing dessert. Regent’s culinary team has our attention with this floating Island of French Meringue, pink praline, and crème anglaise.
