The all-suite Star Breeze yacht celebrates its arrival in Australia for the first time. November 22, 2022, She kicked off her inaugural Australian season with a 13-day private charter cruise to Melbourne. The ship concludes the charter on December 4th,2022, and then will sail for Australia-centric itineraries until February 7th, 2023. Windstar has never spent extended time in Australia, so this season will be a welcome milestone for the brand as it makes port in ports like Mooloolaba and Phillip Island.
Christopher Prelog, President of Windstar, has voiced the significance of their presence in the region. The brand’s guiding principles are giving guests access to popular tourist attractions like the Sydney Opera House or Great Berrier Reef and exposing them to lesser-known harbors for destination and cultural enrichment. Visits to remote destinations like Thursday Island, Middle Percy Island, and more are possible due to the size of the ship.
