The Design
Located in a privileged space in the aft area of the ship, The Otium Suite can be immediately identified from the ship’s exterior by the unique shape of its balcony. To be precise, it is a 431 sq. ft. Terrace that extends from the back of the ship like a fin. To give you perspective, that is 131 sq. ft. larger than most introductory suites, and the unique shape allows occupants to have unmatched views on nearly all sides. This expansive deck is also the home to a large jacuzzi and two separate seating and lounging areas.
Upon entry to the Otium Suite, you will be immediately impressed by the 270-degree views of the floor-to-ceiling windows that line the exterior walls of the suite. Silversea made the views their top priority. Each day guests will wake up surrounded by picturesque vistas of their favorite ports.
The expansive 1324 sq. ft. suite features expansive living and dining areas to host your guests and family. The additional space is excellent for entertaining onboard. The interior design, currently announced, will follow the popular trend of using light tones and neutral schemes, and eye-capturing splashes of color. This creates the illusion of even more space within this already huge suite.
The separate bedroom houses a roomy kingsize bed, private balcony access, and among other features, a flat-screen TV that hides in the footboard of the bed when you aren’t using it. This is a master bedroom in the truest sense of the word. Attached to it you will find a massive walk-in closet and an ornately marbled master bathroom.
