Silversea Silver Nova, A Design Masterpiece
Silversea did not sacrifice any of its storied white-glove service or opulence when designing this all-suite marvel. The truth is quite the opposite. Silver Nova designers are again raising the bar for luxury at sea.
The unique asymmetrical design of the hull affords each of the Silversea Silver Nova’s 728 guests more space and a wider assortment of splendid accommodations than ever before.
Silver Nova presents itself today as the largest and most spacious vessel of the Silversea fleet, all thanks to its asymmetrical design. While most cruise ships work with a fully symmetrical design, the Silver Nova incorporates curves, creating a strategic deck plan meant to provide a greater space-per-guest ratio.
On the Silver Nova deck plan, accommodations are located at the front of the ship, while entertainment areas can be found in the back, different from Silversea’s previous vessel’s design, where suites are located on every deck in the center and forward part. Perched atop the ship on decks six to nine, these types of sleek design considerations provide views you will not find on any other cruise liner.
Located in a premium aft corner position, the impressive Otium Suites are inspired by Silversea’s wellness program, featuring not one, but two private whirlpools – one of them installed on the impressive 431 square foot balcony, and the other in a spacious bathroom with tremendous views -, and a complimentary Otium spa treatment per guest valued at up to $399 (up to 2 guests per suite).

The Master Suite, on the other hand, features between 721 and 826 square feet of space, with wrap-around balconies facing the back of the ship, and bathrooms offering spectacular views to the outside.
Exclusive to Silver Nova, this new suite category is located in the premium aft corner position, with incredible floor-to-ceiling glazing around the living room and bedroom. This, along with its 233-330 square foot balcony ensures you get the most outstanding views out of every port of call, no matter where you are in the world.
A New Dining Concept
Silversea Silver Nova’s deck plan features five decks worth of restaurants, bars, and entertainment spaces, offering plenty of choices to unwind, fine dine, and relax with a cocktail at hand. Offering a more open-concept floor plan than other vessels of the fleet, the Silver Nova’s design allows greater space for guests to connect during their vacation.
Experience the all-new evening-only bar The Shelter, tucked in an intimate part of the ship and boasting a maximum capacity of up to 32 guests, or soak some fresh air at the extensive indoor/outdoor spaces available at venues such as La Terrazza, the Panorama Lounge, and the Connoisseur’s Corner. Word is, the best sunsets onboard can be seen from The Dusk Bar, perched at the back of the pool deck.

Silver Nova’s Environmental Features
Showing a clear steer towards more sustainable practices within the cruise industry, the Silversea Silver Nova has been designed for better fuel efficiency, generating a smaller carbon footprint than its predecessors.
Relying on liquefied natural gas (LNG) as its primary fuel source, the Silver Nova is the first luxury vessel to introduce this feature. As a clean-burning fuel, it cuts sulfur emissions by up to 99%, and nitrogen oxide emissions by 85%, thereby producing a lower environmental impact.
Not just that, but details such as glass elevators onboard generating electricity used to power themselves, LED lighting for less power consumption, and micro gasification systems meant to convert waste into thermal energy, make this the most environmentally conscious ship in the Silversea fleet.
