Double Hull
The AmaMagna is the first river ship designed with a double hull which makes her the widest river ship out there. It has the shallowest draught so it can cruise in lower water levels. This design feature gives cruisers more square footage in their suites, staterooms, and everywhere else onboard to spread out and enjoy. With space always at a premium when you are talking about river cruises, this is a massive upgrade and unique to AmaWaterways.
Suites
Over half of the accommodations onboard are suites ranging from 355 to 710 square feet. Giving you, the guest more options for higher quality onboard experiences through the ability to get additional square footage, amenities, balconies, french balconies, or even both. New Dining Venues
The Main Restaurant and The Chef’s Table will make their return and are joined by two alluring new concepts: Jimmy’s and The Al Fresco Restaurant. Jimmy’s will feature family-style dining and is named in honor of late Amawaterways Co-Owner, Jimmy Murphy.
The Al Fresco Restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating and retractable windows. The menu will feature “vegetable-forward” and many other refreshing selections.
All of AmaWaterways’ dining venues use the freshest, locally sourced, and expertly prepared ingredients to enhance the culinary experience of each visitor. All meals onboard are included in the price of your cruise.
Zen Wellness Studio
Another benefit of the additional space afforded by the double hull design, AmaMagna has the Zen Wellness Studio. This latest evolution of AmaWaterways’ onboard fitness centers offers more square footage, guided fitness classes, a refreshing juice bar, and two treatment rooms for a list of massage services.
Impeccable Service
AmaWaterways’ is excellent at the “intangibles.” When you board the ship you are presented with a rose from the captain, the crew will learn about your interests, your favorite menu items, and your favorite types of excursions to provide anticipatory service throughout your cruise. Additionally, the cruise line includes beverages with lunch and dinner and tours in each port.
