Design
Setting a new standard for luxury cruises in the Amazon, Aqua Nera is inspired by the deep black water lagoons of the Peruvian Amazon and features the hallmarks of modern style and the luxury of small yacht cruises.
In Aqua Nera, architects Noor Design have created one of the most intimate luxury vessels worldwide. The ship’s 20 spacious cabins offer a sense of Amazonian tranquility, while the social area features a luxurious and theatrical touch. Beautifully infused into the design are accents and details from the rubber boom and rich culture of Portugal, Spain, and Peru.

The ship features food by Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, one of Peru’s top chefs, known for creating authentic cuisine using Amazonian produce. The cuisine features locally sourced fish and meat to create modern takes on traditional South American recipes.
Each day, expert naturalist guides lead small-group tours that reward visitors with up-close interactions with nature in the world’s most diverse rainforest. The Aqua Nera’s fleet of private speed boats features high back seats for maximum comfort during excursions.
Guests can also take advantage of watersports equipment to enjoy activities like kayaking, fishing, and swimming in the waters of the Amazon River. In port and local villages, Aqua Nera provides all-terrain bicycles.
With one-to-one guest-to-crew ratios, onboard a ship with a capacity of forty virtually guarantees the highest quality of personalized service.
